| Who Owns the Weather, by Manu Luksch & Mukul Patel, is an exploration of the distinctly human urge to control and manipulate the weather. Part research project and part art installation, the work couples a multimedia video and print installation with interactive processes to intended to incite discussion and inquiry of the legal, social, moral and ecological issues surrounding practices like scientific modification of weather for military purposes and weather-risk management. The project is process-oriented; the conversations and dialogues generated during the interactive portions of the work will comprise the culminating research report, to be published online as another element of the project. | |
