Taiwan’s government aimed to construct nationwide Wi-Fi infrastructures, but the networks do not cover aboriginal areas in central Taiwan (Figure 1). This separation in service follows the traditional boundary between Chinese and aboriginal residential areas. As shown in Figure 2, the areas in red are Chinese, while the other areas are aboriginal.
