Taipei city hall is building a free  and ‘mobile-fixed’ Wi-Fi networks with WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, a long distance wireless technology, one candidate of 4G network standard)  since July, 2011. WiMAX (long distance wireless technology, one candidate of 4G).

For the future



In the future, I will continue to my research on the methodology of anthropology in urban landscapes, identity, technology and cyborgs. My study will focus on the application of metaphor in creating the connection between the material cultures and the representation medium.

The motives:

This is recreated from the Wi-Fi machine codes and it reveal the city with an invisible and harmonic Wi-Fi space.
